Boat Building Instructor
The full-time Boat Building instructor fufills the school’s core mission by providing a high-quality educational experience. Instructors teach using methods such as lectures, demonstrations, student feedback, homework assignments, and leading boat building projects. These methods are modeled using industry standards in safety, craftsmanship, and project management. During their first year of teaching the Instructor will be mentoring with another instructor who has taught at the school for at least five years.

Marine Systems Instructor
The full-time Marine Systems Instructor plays a key role teaching in the 9-month competency-based marine systems program and also teaches week-long Intensives to industry professionals. We’re looking for a candidate who blends an ability to communicate and a desire to teach with strong technical marine systems skills. The ideal candidate will have strong systems/mechanical skills, be a team player, and work with dedication towards the success of the program. Teaching experience is required.
