The Boat School is collaborating with the Port Townsend School of Woodworking and the CedarRoot Folk School with the message “Learn With Your Hands on the Olympic Peninsula” that aims to broaden the message around craftsmanship and experiential learning.

The three organizations will come together to exhibit the level of craftsmanship that their programs teach in a June 4th ‘Learn With Your Hands’ Exhibition held at the Cotton Building in Downtown Port Townsend. The event will highlight handcrafted items produced from the three organizations, including handcrafted items and artwork donated for the Boat School’s 2nd Annual Gala & Fundraiser June 18, 2016.

The event will begin at 4:00 P.M. and run through Gallery Walk, occurring the first Saturday of every month from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m in Downtown Port Townsend, which is a way for visitors and patrons to explore art galleries and venues in the downtown waterfront district to show off the work of local artists.

This event is free and open to the public! Stop by for a glass of beer and view these special pieces of art!
